Statement on Zohran Mamdani’s Primary Win

Now is the time for New York’s business leaders, real estate owners, the Jewish community, law enforcement, and every concerned citizen in the outer boroughs to unite behind a rescue plan for our city.

Section 9 of the New York State Constitution gives us the roadmap. It was used in 1932 to remove corrupt Mayor Jimmy Walker—and it can be used again.

Make no mistake: if Zohran Mamdani drives New York City into bankruptcy and criminal chaos, the next governor has the power to remove the mayor.

Let’s start now. We must elect a common-sense governor—someone who cares about New York City and will act decisively to stop the coming disaster.
